How it
all started...
Calvary Chapel Norman has humble beginnings. In 1994, we began meeting in my mother-in-law's home with a simple desire: to faithfully teach God's Word.
Within the first few months, our fellowship outgrew that space, and we met in several homes and various rented locations. Then, in 2006, God provided the opportunity to purchase property at 1401 W. Boyd St. in Norman, where we continue to gather today.
While our location has changed over the years, our philosophy and mission have remained the same. From the beginning, our desire has been to teach God's Word verse by verse and to watch God transform believers into mature followers of Jesus Christ through the faithful teaching of Scripture.

At Calvary Chapel Norman, our goal is not to have more bodies in the seats, but to expand Christ's Church and help lead others to Him. Our desire is for everyone to feel welcome and fed by God's Word.
